Dealer didn’t want to let me take a GT-R as a loaner since they didn’t have one stock so I asked for the 370Z and he said no. SAD!

So i have a CVT Sentra with a SPORT button, while my pathfinder is getting it’s CVT replaced.

Nissan transmissions are just so bad. Even the worst early 2000s Hondas transmissions would last 6-8 years. I mean my 1998 LS400 with 308k miles is still on its first.

like my dealer said, on the 4000 cvt equipped cars they sold, they changed less than 15 cvts so far.

that being said, the 2013 Pathfinder does have a less than stellar CVT track record.

I knew the risk when I bought my 2014 in march 2015. We went with the pathfinder because of the fuel economy, the interior, and the smooth and constant acceleration. We wanted an almost new AWD 7 passenger. we were soon to have 2 baby seats and space for the oldest to sit, and still have space for stuff.

The only reason I actually tried the Pathfinder was to cross it off our list because of the CVT, but the wife insisted we at least try it.
